Discover the Effects of Dehydration in Training Performance

Dehydration is typically much more ordinary and a lot less dramatic. A better example of dehydration is you...when you wake up in the morning. Dehydration is defined as losing as low as 1-2% of body weight via water loss. It is usually a result of sweating excessively, not drinking water for a few hours (e.g. sleeping), blood loss, consuming alcohol or caffeinated drinks, vomiting, and also diarrhea.

Although minimal instances of dehydration don’t need hospitalization, a small amount of dehydration will surely have negative effects. Research shows that losing just 2.5% of body weight through water loss can cause poor training performance and have dangerous effects on health.
